Welcome to Marine Chemists of Louisiana Training page. I’m Geoff Jenny and have 28 years of experience in the marine industry and 26 years as an instructor. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Toxicology, I started my career with Avondale Shipyards, then spent the next few years at TT Barge Services during which becoming a NFPA certified marine chemist. I currently serve the Marine Chemist Association as Chairman and have previously served on the Executive Committee. I enjoy teaching and feel as a Marine Chemists to be the most qualified type of instructor in Shipyard Competent Person Training.
